How to order? |
|
To order butterflies is fairly simple. All you
have to do is send an email to
orders@butterflyweddings.co.za
and tell us how many butterflies
you will require. Please include a contact number so that we can get
back to you at our earliest convenience.
Note: Remember...!!!!!.... We
cannot accept an order without some form of payment. It is unfair to
our butterflies, to book them, and at the last moment, then to cancel your
order. This means that we have refused to supply
other clients who would have enjoyed their benefit. Be fair and honest.
Either book them or cancel your booking timorously. |
Breeding process?
Once we receive 50% on order, we get to work. We obtain host plants for
the gravid females to lay eggs on and make sure that we have enough host
plants (food) for them for the duration of the breeding process. Gravid
females are obtained a week before the second deposit is paid by our
client and we start them laying their eggs. The breeding process, well
monitored, will take approximately 12 weeks. Butterflies start hatching
from their pupa's a few days before the date prescribed for your
function. A week before the delivery of the butterflies, upon final
payment made by our client, the sorting of the bred specimens falls into
effect. The strongest and healthiest specimens are sorted and packaged and
are ready to go.
